Rozetka opens 40 franchise points in 2023

KYIV. Oct 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The largest Ukrainian online retailer Rozetka has opened 40 new franchise points since the beginning of 2023 and plans to expand the network to 130 by the end of the year, the company’s press service reported.

As stated in the release, Rozetka launched the franchise at the end of 2020.

Until 2022, there were 54 franchise distribution points operating in Ukraine, 23 were added in 2022, and 40 from the beginning of 2023. Currently, the Rozetka franchise network consists of 116 distribution points. Most of the company’s franchise points are open and continue to open in Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk and Odesa regions.

“Every week we receive about 15 applications to open franchise points: both from potential franchisees and from those who we have been working with for a long time. Rozetka plans to open another 11 – 14 franchise points by the end of 2023. If we reach this figure, the network of distribution points under the franchising system will expand to about 130,” Rozetka development director Oleksandr Kovalenko said.

In addition, during a full-scale invasion, Rozetka restores franchise locations damaged due to Russian shelling. Those working in Kharkiv, Kherson and Borodianka have already been restored.

“Now we are trying to restore the last franchise point of delivery among the damaged ones as quickly as possible. This is a point in Kharkiv, which we plan to open in the second half of November,” Kovalenko said.

The director of the online retailer explains the increase in interest in the franchise format with streamlined and automated business processes in the company and stable income.

In total, to date, the online retailer has already opened 416 points of delivery of goods in 122 settlements of Ukraine.
