Tigipko's Dniprometiz posts UAH 22.4 mln profit for nine months against loss a year

KYIV. Oct 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC Dniprometiz (Dnipro), owned by Ukrainian businessman Sergiy Tigipko, based on the results of work in January-September of this year, received a net profit of UAH 22.386 million, while the same period last year it ended with a net loss of UAH 14.371 million.

According to the company’s interim report, for the nine months of 2023, net income increased by 8.3% – to UAH 2.043 billion.

At the same time, the retained profit of the enterprise by the end of September 2023 amounted to UAH 262.469 million.

Based on the results of January-March of this year, Dniprometiz received a net profit of UAH 17.581 million, while it completed the same period last year with a net loss of UAH 8.645 million. For the first quarter of 2023, net income increased by 54% – to UAH 683.802 million.

Dniprometiz manufactures hardware products from low-carbon steels. The capacity of the enterprise is 120,000 tonnes of products per year.

According to the National Depository of Ukraine data for the first quarter of 2023, T.A.S. Overseas Investments Limited (Cyprus) holds a 98.6578% stake in Dniprometiz.

The charter capital of PrJSC Dniprometiz is UAH 83.480 million, the par value of the share is UAH 68.08.
