Cabinet ceases cooperation with Russia, Belarus in fight against economic crimes under CIS agreement

KYIV. Nov 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has suspended the CIS agreement on cooperation in combating economic crimes in terms of cooperation with the Russian Federation and Belarus.

As representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk said on Telegram, the corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Tuesday.

In particular, due to a fundamental change in circumstances, the agreement on cooperation in combating economic crimes, which was signed in Moscow (Russia) on April 12, 1996, regarding the relations of the Government of Ukraine with the governments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, was suspended.
