By KYIV. Nov 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Zhydachiv Pulp and Paper Mill (Lviv region) produced products worth UAH 444.6 million in January-October 2023, which is 7.6% more than in the same period in 2022.
According to statistical data provided to Interfax-Ukraine by the UkrPapir association, in kind, the production of corrugated packaging grew by 21.2%, to 19.2 million square meters, containerboard – by almost 27%, to 13,500 tonnes, paper – by 11%, to 3,700 tonnes.
Including in October, the plant increased the production of paper and cardboard by 66.4% by October 2022, to 1,800 tonnes, corrugated packaging by 54.6%, to 2.3 million square meters. Compared to September of this year, the production of paper and cardboard rose by 15.4%, corrugated packaging – by 23%.
As reported with reference to association data received from the main industry enterprises, in January-October 2023 in Ukraine there was an increase in the production of paper and cardboard by 11.4% (to 454,900 tonnes), cardboard boxes – by 18.1% (to 428.7 million square meters).
