KYIV. May 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Datagroup-Volia is launching a program to connect humanitarian centers for internally displaced persons to free high-speed Internet, the company’s press service reported.
"Reliable and high-quality communications for IDPs is one of the first urgent needs, along with food and a roof over their heads. It is very important to keep in touch with relatives left in the war zones, as well as get the latest news. In addition, children should be able to continue online training to help us restore our country after the victory. That is why we decided to provide these people with free and high-quality communication," Datagroup-Volia commented on the initiative.
To connect to the Internet in the center for internally displaced persons, please contact Shelter@volia.com, the company notes.
As reported, in June 2021, Datagroup completed the signing of an agreement to acquire 100% of the Ukrainian provider of paid TV services and cable high-speed Internet access of the Volia group of companies and will develop the consolidated asset.
