10 finalists selected for Eurovision 2023 final on May 13

KYIV. May 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) In the second semi-final, the audience determined the last ten countries participating in the final of the Eurovision 2023 international song contest.

On the night of May 11-12, Liverpool (UK) hosted the second semi-final of the Eurovision 2023 international song contest, where 16 participants competed for the right to represent their country in the final of the contest.

According to the results of the audience voting, the finalists were: Albania, Cyprus, Estonia, Belgium, Austria, Lithuania, Poland, Australia, Armenia, Slovenia.

At the same time, artists from such countries as Denmark, Romania, Iceland, Greece, Georgia, San Marino received the smallest number of votes and will not continue to participate in the competition.

Earlier, according to the results of the audience voting in the first semi-final, Croatia, Moldova, Switzerland, Finland, Czech Republic, Israel, Portugal, Sweden, Serbia and Norway qualified for the final of the competition.

In addition, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Great Britain and Ukraine automatically qualify for the final as the winning country of Eurovision 2022.

As reported, Tvorchi won the national preselection with the song Heart of Steel. She will represent Ukraine at the international song contest Eurovision 2023.

Due to the ongoing war, after a series of discussions, it was decided that Eurovision 2023 will be held in the UK (Liverpool) on behalf of Ukraine. The slogan for the 2023 contest is “United by Music,” and the logo features hearts in the national colors of Ukraine and Britain “beating in unison”.

Tvorchi will perform at number 19 in the final of the competition, which will take place on May 13th.
