KYIV. May 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In January-March 2023, ARX Insurance Company collected UAH 781.6 million in insurance premiums, which is 27% more than in the same period last year, increasing the number of signed policies 2.2-fold.
According to a press release from the insurer, payments in claims in the first quarter reached UAH 303.5 million, which is 12% more than in 2022. Every day, ARX pays out about UAH 4.7 million.
In addition, over UAH 360 million was collected under voluntary car insurance (KASKO) policies in the first quarter, which is 17% higher than last year; over UAH 156.7 million under voluntary medical insurance policies, which is 4% more than in 2022; about UAH 102 million under property insurance policies, which is 38% more than last year. Compulsory third-party liability insurance (OSAGO) showed an increase of 34%, and premiums reached more than UAH 53 million.
The company also reported that in the first quarter of 2023, ARX paid more than UAH 77 million in taxes to the budget of Ukraine. In general, in 2022, ARX and ARX Life paid more than UAH 368 million in taxes to the state. In 2022, ARX transferred UAH 35 million to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The company cooperates with the Come Back Alive fund for competent assistance to the army.
ARX has been operating in the insurance market for 26 years. According to it, the company is the leader in KASKO insurance for the 12th year in a row.
