KYIV. May 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The government of Ukraine has expanded the list of critical infrastructure facilities with two positions – the production of veterinary drugs and the operation of elevators, which will allow companies included in it to reserve conscripted workers and make purchases under a simplified procedure.
“The production of veterinary drugs is an important industry for ensuring a stable epizootic situation in the country, and this industry needs state support,” First Deputy Minister Taras Vysotsky commented on government resolution No. 455 of May 9 on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
He also noted that the continuous operation of elevators is necessary for stable and uniform exports and the strategic provision of food supplies.
The list of critical infrastructure facilities is regulated by government resolution No. 1109 of October 9, 2020, as amended by decree No. 1384 of December 16, 2022.
By order No. 223of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of February 21, 2023, the criteria for determining enterprises, institutions and organizations that are important for the national economy in the agricultural sector in a special period were approved.
