By KHARKIV. May 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Tuesday, May 9, on the territory of one of the districts of Kharkiv, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) will hold counter-sabotage events, in which military authorities and other law enforcement agencies will take part, military equipment, weapons and radio equipment will be involved.
“The purpose of the planned measures is to increase the safety of the civilian population of Kharkiv, strengthen the security of critical infrastructure facilities, as well as identify and detain possible sabotage groups,” the USBU in Kharkiv region reports.
The SBU notes that during counter-sabotage events, it is possible to restrict passage or travel through some streets of the city, check citizens’ documents, inspect cars.
The SBU asks to treat possible inconveniences with understanding and to respond properly to the lawful actions and demands of law enforcement officers, to have identity documents with you, to observe the curfew.
