KYIV. May 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupiers carried out 98 attacks on Kherson region during the day, 23 people were killed and 46 wounded, said head of the Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
“Over the past day, the enemy has carried out 98 attacks, firing 539 shells from heavy artillery, Grads, tanks, UAVs and aviation. The enemy shelled the city of Kherson 16 times … Due to the Russian aggression, 23 people were killed, 46 (two of them children) were injured,” he wrote on the Telegram channel.
According to him, the occupiers got into the residential quarters of the settlements of the region. At the same time, in Kherson 82 shells hit the railway station square, the territory and facilities of the railway station, gas station, two shopping establishments, a factory and a car facility; the territory of the railway crossing.
Prokudin also said that 84 people were evacuated from the unoccupied territory of the region.
