Govt adopts resolution on preparation of stabilization plan in Ukraine's eastern regions after their de-occupation

KYIV. May 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a resolution On preparation for actions to stabilize the situation in the de-occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and their reintegration, the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine has said on Friday.

“According to the document, coordinating agencies are being established under Donetsk and Luhansk Regional Military Administrations to prepare for action immediately after the de-occupation of the temporarily occupied territories. This is about the development of detailed action plans, the formation of a personnel reserve and material and technical reserves,” the ministry’s press service said in a statement.

It is noted that key areas of training are: security; restoration of public authorities; humanitarian response; rehabilitation of infrastructure; medical response and psychological support; social protection; economy; information policy; education.

“Relevant plans will be approved in agreement with the Coordinating Headquarters for the Occupied Territories,” the ministry said in the statement.
