KYIV. May 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine (MTIBU) has published an assessment of the activities of insurance companies providing compulsory insurance of vehicle owners’ civil liability (OSAGO) for the first quarter of 2023.
According to the MTIBU, out of 39 MTIBU member companies, 34 insurers took part in the assessment, since the OSAGO licenses were revoked by the decisions of the NBU from Alfa Insurance, Omega, Providna, PRO100-Insurance, Motor-Garant.
According to the published data, 17 insurance companies had high performance in all main criteria (overall performance assessment, quality of claims settlement, level of complaints from victims) in the first quarter of 2023, namely Universalna, Oranta, INGO, Kniazha Vienna Insurance Group, Guarantee, PZU Ukraine, UTICO, TAS, ARX, UNIQA, Ukrainian Insurance Group, Krayina, VUSO, Salamandra, Arsenal Insurance, Express Insurance, and Guardian.
According to the information of the bureau, Colonnade Ukraine was lowly assessed in the quality of settlement of insured events.
The MTIBU is the only association of insurers that provide compulsory insurance of vehicle owners’ civil liability for damage caused to third parties.
