By KYIV. May 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Main Intelligence Agency of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry notes the “special role” of the ICEYE spacecraft in planning and implementing important military operations.
“Employees of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine note the special role of the ‘people’s satellite’ in the planning and implementation of important and highly anticipated military operations of Ukraine and once again express their gratitude to all Ukrainians who helped with ICEYE,” the Telegram channel said on Friday.
It is noted that since September 2022, after this satellite, purchased with donations from Ukrainians to the charitable foundation of Serhiy Prytula, was at the disposal of military intelligence officers, the ability of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Defense Ministry “to identify hostile targets for further priority destruction of the occupiers … has increased manifold.”
For six months of using the satellite, Ukraine received intelligence, thanks to which Russian military equipment “billions of dollars” was destroyed, as well as enemy manpower and military logistics facilities.
