KYIV. May 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The New Balance Trostianets master plan proposes the introduction of the “the Sweetest City in Ukraine” brand.
This idea was given during the presentation of the master plan by the mayor of Trostianets (Sumy region) Yuriy Bova.
“We must create conditions that are comfortable for the development of our children, first of all, because young people (returning to the city) should have safe and high-quality conditions for the future of their children, their education, leisure, sports, and so on. We also expect that after the war the number of tourists will increase, and accordingly, it is necessary to create an appropriate infrastructure for live communication between people on the streets and squares of our city. We also understand that further economic growth is associated with our economic flagship – a chocolate factory, and we are considering deepening specialization, introducing a brand Trostianets as the sweetest city in Ukraine,” Bova said, outlining expectations from the master plan.
He specified the possible steps to introduce the new Trostianets brand as "the sweetest city in Ukraine." In particular, it is proposed to link the existing and future key features of Trostianets’ activity (tourism, festivals, music, culture, etc.) with this branding, stimulate business (from hand-made workshop and confectionery to large-scale production), create an educational program for young chocolatiers and confectioners, and open a branch of a famous European confectionery.
