By KYIV. May 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that Italy could join the country’s rapid recovery program.
“There are two plans – a fast recovery plan and a major reconstruction plan. I talked about the fast recovery plan. It is very important, there is a lot of work, including with bomb shelters in schools. We have built an online education format, but children need social space,” he said at a briefing on Saturday after meeting with Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni.
“Energy. We must prepare for next winter. We live in different conditions, we understand who our neighbor is,” Zelenskyy said, adding also “construction of houses for internally displaced persons.”
“As for the major plan, it is the second stage. I would like us to bring our people back to life,” he said.
