KYIV. May 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kronospan Ukr (Novovolynsk, Volyn region), part of Kronospan Group through Kronospan Holdings P.L.C. (Cyprus), obtained the status of the managing company of the Kronospan Rivne industrial park (Horodok, Rivne region).
According to the announcement on the website of the Ministry of Economy, the corresponding notification was received from Kronospan Rivne LLC, the initiator of the creation of the industrial park.
The agreement on the creation and operation of Kronospan Rivne park was concluded between Kronospan Rivne LLC and Kronospan Ukr on May 9 this year.
As reported, the Ministry of Economy included the Kronospan Rivne industrial park with an area of more than 85 hectares with a planned operation period of 50 years in the register of industrial parks in July 2021.
Priority types of activity for placement are woodworking and furniture industry, warehousing.
Kronospan Rivne LLC is currently implementing an investment project launched in 2020 by the Kronospan international group to create a woodworking plant in Horodok, the first stage of which – the production of chipboard – is designed to produce 900,000 cubic meters of goods per year. According to Opendatabot, the company’s income in 2022 amounted to UAH 518.8 million (against UAH 33.4 million in 2021), the loss reached UAH 2.58 billion.
