KYIV. May 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – During an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Stockholm, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba raised the issue of long-range shells and the short-term start of negotiations on joining the EU, the topic of F-16 fighter jets and the creation of a Special Tribunal were also discussed.
“I addressed 27 fellow EU ministers with two requests: 1. Long-range artillery shells; 2. Short-term start of EU accession negotiations. There is progress on both issues,” he wrote on Instagram.
Also, according to him, the topics of the Ukrainian peace formula, the presentation of F-16 fighter jets, the creation of a Special Tribunal, new arms supplies, grain exports, interaction with other regions and demining were discussed.
“A frank and friendly conversation. As it should be between member states and a future EU member. We are moving towards concrete solutions to all issues,” the Foreign Minister assured.
