Kyiv to provide 100 children from Kherson with health improvement services in camps – Klitschko

KYIV. June 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kyiv will help the cities affected by the destruction of the dam at Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) in Kherson region, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said.

“I have talked to Secretary of Kherson City Council Halyna Luhova. We agreed that the capital will receive 100 children from Kherson and provide them with health improvement services in children’s camps. We have started arrangements,” he said on the Telegram channel on Tuesday.

Kyiv also proposed its assistance through the Association of Ukrainian Cities and received information about the most pressing needs of Kherson region.

“We are deciding which of the needed means we can quickly provide – it is about motor pumps and vessels. We will also supply food and drinking water,” Klitschko said.
