By KYIV. May 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar has denied fake information disseminated in the Russian information field about the alleged “liquidation of Ukrainian commanders.”
“The Russian information field is spreading information about the alleged liquidation of our commanders. There are three messages within a week. Everyone is alive. Usually such messages pursue several goals: psychological influence on the person himself; demoralization of the Ukrainian troops; short-term hype on the topic; raising the spirit of their own troops,” she wrote on the Telegram channel.
Maliar stressed that this is “only a minor public episode, from which it is possible to understand the conditions under which our command is fighting.”
