KYIV. May 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC Nadiyna Insurance Company (Kyiv) in January-March 2023 collected insurance premiums in the amount of UAH 36.135 million, which is 30.03% more than in the same period a year earlier, according to the information of Standard-Rating on updating the company’s credit/financial reliability rating of the insurer at uaA+ on the national scale.
At the same time, there were no premiums from individuals, and premiums from reinsurers amounted to UAH 2,000. Thus, according to the results of the first quarter of 2023, the insurer’s client portfolio in terms of gross premiums was mainly formed by legal entities.
Insurance premiums sent to reinsurers for the first quarter of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022 decreased by 17.94%, to UAH 20.194 million. Thus, the participation rate of reinsurers in insurance premiums decreased from 88.55% to 55.88%, or by 32.67 percentage points.
The insurer’s net premiums increased by more than 5 times, to UAH 15.941 million, and earned premiums by 5.19 times, to UAH 16.358 million.
The volume of insurance payments and indemnities made by the company for the first quarter of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022 increased by 19.24 times, to UAH 1.847 million. Thus, the level of payments increased by 4.76 percentage points, up to 5.11%.
In the first three months of 2023, the company’s operations were profitable, and its financial results showed significant growth. Thus, operating profit increased to UAH 11.334 million, while the insurer’s net profit increased to UAH 10.417 million.
As of March 30, the company’s assets increased by 14.77%, to UAH 69.773 million, equity showed an increase of 21.22%, to UAH 59.502 million, liabilities decreased by 12.26%, to UAH 10.271 million, cash and their equivalents increased by 81.68%, to UAH 24.302 million.
The company was registered in the unified state register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in 2006. The charter capital is UAH 15 million.
According to the data of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, as of Q4 2022, the company’s shareholders were eight individuals with 9.5% stakes, one – with 5%, another owned 19%.
