By KYIV. May 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Russia must not win the war and it must be brough to justice for the crime of aggression, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte has said at a press briefing on Thursday following a meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“The determination and courage of the Ukrainian servicemen are unprecedented. We all admire you… This is a war against freedom and democracy. Russia must not win this war and it must be brought to justice for the crime of aggression,” he said.
Rutte also said that “the Netherlands will do its best to ensure justice for Ukraine.”
“Russia’s daily brutal aggression recalls us that the rule of law is not a given,” he said.
“Your visit sends a message that the people of Ukraine will not give in to the Russian aggression,” he said.
