KYIV. May 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The number of medical appointments booked in the Helsi Ukraine system in January-March 2023 grew by 16.8% compared to October-December 2022, to 1.8 million, follows from the report of VEON. Kyivstar, a subsidiary operator of VEON, acquired Helsi in the third quarter of 2022.
According to the report, Helsi also reported more than 25 million registered users, 0.6% up from the previous quarter.
At the same time, the number of registered medical institutions in the system in the first quarter of this year reached 1,500, which is 32.1% more than in the fourth quarter of 2022. In addition, the number of doctors registered in the system rose by 7.4%, to 33,500.
Kyivstar reported on the results of the first quarter about 24.3 million subscribers, which is 6.7% less than a year earlier (26.1 million).
As reported, Kyivstar, the largest mobile communications operator in Ukraine, announced the purchase of a controlling stake in Helsi in August 2022.
Helsi is a medical information system and a leading digital healthcare provider in Ukraine. It is known as a provider of SaaS medical information system solutions for 1,300 public and private clinics.
