Passage of military medical commission to become faster, more convenient – Defense Ministry

KYIV. May 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported on the work on improving the process of passing the military medical commission.

According to the department’s statement on Facebook, improving the process of passing the military medical commission provides for: increasing the network of military medical commissions due to their additional deployment in civilian healthcare facilities; separate financing of payment for the services of medical workers involved in medical examinations in order to assess the degree of suitability for military service.

This also includes the introduction of an e-queue for registering at the military medical commission, electronic document management between military units, involvement of healthcare facilities from the system of the Ministry of Defense to work with the electronic healthcare system.

“Health facilities from the system of the Ministry of Defense will have access to a person’s history, in particular in an electronic medical record,” the ministry said.

In addition, it is planned to introduce modern approaches to servicing during the passage of the VVK; implementation of information support (hotline) and the introduction of information products that will help military personnel receive assistance.

“The changes will be gradual. The process involves making changes to a number of legal acts, technical developments and resource testing,” the Defense Ministry said.
