By KYIV. May 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupation forces launched eleven missile and 58 air strikes and mounted 76 artillery attacks on Ukraine in the past 24 hours, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AGU) has said on Monday.
“Civilians were injured, private houses and other civilian infrastructure were damaged and destroyed. The threat of new missile and air strikes remains high all over the territory of Ukraine,” it said on Facebook.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka directions. It launched around 30 attacks there. Heavy fighting for Bakhmut and Maryinka continues.
