KYIV. May 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The State Property Fund (SPF) of Ukraine has scheduled another privatization auction for the sale of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky seaport for June 6, 2023.
According to a report on the SPF website, the terms of the sale were approved at a meeting of the auction commission for the sale of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky seaport on May 9, 2023.
The auction will take place in the ProZorro.Sale system. The starting price is UAH 184.92 million (excluding VAT). The amount of the guarantee fee is UAH 36.98 million.
As reported, Ukrdoninvest LLC, owned by businessman Vitaliy Kropachev, refused to buy Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky seaport at the stage of negotiating the terms of a sales contract with the regional branch of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, the company’s press service reported.
Ukrdoninvest did not demand the return of the guarantee fee from the state in the amount of UAH 18.757 million and hopes that the funds will be used to increase the defense capability of our state.
Earlier, the State Property Fund announced that it would re-hold the privatization auction for the port in connection with the recognition of the auction at which it was sold to Ukrdoninvest of businessman Vitaliy Kropachev failed: the winner of the auction did not pay for the object, the press service of the fund reported.
