Stalkanat more than doubles profit in Jan-March

KYIV. May 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PJSC Production Association Stalkanat (Odesa), following the results of its operation in January-March of this year, increased its net profit by 2.2 times compared to the same period last year, to UAH 77.304 million.

According to the company’s interim report, net income for this period fell by 3.2%, to UAH 701.047 million.

Retained earnings as of March 31, 2023, reached UAH 234.019 million.

As reported, Stalkanat saw UAH 325 million in profit in 2022 versus a slight loss a year earlier, while 2021 ended with a net loss of UAH 309,000.

The shareholders at a general meeting held on September 3, 2021 decided to separate from PrJSC Stalkanat-Silur and create a new company – PrJSC Stalkanat with the transfer of part of the property, rights, and obligations to it in accordance with the approved distribution balance.

PrJSC Stalkanat-Silur (Odesa) previously had two branches – in Odesa and in Khartsyzsk, in the temporarily uncontrolled territory (Donetsk region). The company’s management on December 1, 2016 officially notified about the halt of the company’s branch operation in Khartsyzsk – the announcement was published in the Uriadovy Kurier newspaper. Later, the Stalkanat-Silur management announced the seizure of the company’s branch in Khartsyzsk and sent a corresponding statement to the National Police.
