KYIV. May 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk is on an official visit to Norway on May 16-18.
According to the press service of the apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada, the program of the visit provides for a series of bilateral meetings with Norwegian officials, during which they will discuss ways to increase assistance to Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.
Stefanchuk will also visit a hospital in Oslo, where wounded Ukrainian soldiers are undergoing rehabilitation, and will meet with representatives of the Ukrainian community.
During the visit, it is planned to sign a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada and the Storting (parliament) of the Kingdom of Norway.
