By KYIV. May 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink thanked the Ukrainian air defense for their powerful work on Tuesday night.
“Grateful for the powerful work of Ukrainian air defenders,” Brink wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny said that at about 03:30 on Tuesday, May 16, six MiG-31K aircraft fired six X-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, the invaders also launched nine Kalibr cruise missiles from ships in the Black Sea and three ground-based missiles (S-400, Iskander-M).
