Ukraine withdraws from agreements with Belarus on cooperation in veterinary medicine, quarantine, plant protection

KYIV. May 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers has terminated the agreements between Ukraine and Belarus on cooperation in the fields of veterinary medicine, quarantine and plant protection.

The relevant decisions were made at a government meeting on Friday, representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk said on Telegram.

In particular, the agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine, which was signed in Mozyr on August 1, 2002, has been terminated.

The agreement with Belarus on cooperation in the field of quarantine and plant protection, which was signed in Minsk on November 7, 2013, has also been terminated.
