KYIV. Dec 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The volume of loans issued under the state program of affordable mortgages eOselia reached UAH 8 billion for 5,400 families, according to the government’s Telegram channel.
According to the report, from November 27 to December 1, some 206 loans were issued in the amount of UAH 307.7 million. Among the program participants are 104 military personnel and security officials, 53 families without housing, 18 teachers, 17 doctors, seven internally displaced persons, five scientists, and two veterans.
As reported, the number of developers accredited by banks under this program has increased to 14 from 26 during the construction process.
The eOselia affordable mortgage lending program has been operational in Ukraine since October 2022. Contract soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, security and defense sector workers, medical workers, teachers, and researchers can apply for a preferential mortgage at 3% per annum for up to 20 years with a down payment of 20% of the cost of housing.
From August 1, war veterans, combatants, IDPs and citizens who do not have their own housing larger than the standard area can apply for participation in the eOselia program at 7%.
Seven partner banks take part in the eOselia program: Oschadbank, PrivatBank, Ukrgasbank, Globus Bank, Sky Bank, Ukreximbank and Sense Bank. You can apply for participation in the program in the Diia mobile application.
