By KYIV. May 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with a delegation from the Venice Commission in Kyiv on Friday, May 5.
“At a meeting with a delegation of the Venice Commission, we discussed the preparation and implementation of legislation related to the procedures for selecting candidates for the post of judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine,” the head of state said on the Telegram channel.
He emphasized that Ukraine is ready to continue working closely with the Venice Commission to ensure effective reforms in line with European standards.
“In general, we are moving in one direction – reforms and victory. Thank you for your visit to Ukraine and fruitful cooperation in various areas of improving Ukrainian legislation,” the president said.
