By KYIV. May 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is sure that the attack by unmanned aerial vehicles of the Moscow Kremlin was organized by Russia itself.
“They did it themselves. Absolutely, I’m sure. I can’t tell you 100%, maybe there is someone in Moscow from their groups, the FSB or someone else. I can’t say 100%, but it’s for sure that Ukraine did not do it,” Zelensky said in an interview with the BBC for Eurovision News, published on Thursday.
According to him, this was done because “they wanted to strike back at us.” “They realized that the world reacts seriously when they hit the civilian population. And they are constantly looking for an excuse for such actions … They are constantly looking for what they can do to make it sound like an excuse, as if you do this to us, so we do that to you,” the head of the Ukrainian state said.
“But it didn’t work. Even for their domestic public, it didn’t work. Even their own propagandists didn’t believe that. Because it looked very, very artificial,” Zelenskyy said.
