By KYIV. May 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met in Kyiv on Tuesday with Head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
“Now May 9 will be Europe Day – in the European Union and also in Ukraine. Today we meet in Kyiv on this special day, because Kyiv is the perfect place to celebrate Europe Day. Every day the brave people of Ukraine defend those values that are the basis of the European Union,” he wrote on the Telegram channel.
