KYIV. May 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – During a meeting on Saturday, May 6, with a delegation from the U.S. state of Utah, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the importance of visits by U.S. delegations to Ukraine and assistance at the level of individual states, the press service of the head of state reported.
It is noted that the U.S. delegation was headed by State Senate President Stuart Adams. It also included representatives of business and charitable organizations.
Zelenskyy noted the importance of such visits, which are signals of support for Ukraine both at the national and regional levels.
The head of state highly appreciated the full and unconditional support expressed by the representatives of the state of Utah for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.
“I would like to thank you on behalf of the Ukrainian people, because our society, we all feel and rely on your support – the support of the United States from the very beginning of the full-scale war, from the very beginning of the Russian aggression,” Zelenskyy said.
He also said the United States is helping our country not only at the level of the federal government, but also at the level of individual states.
“This includes, among other things, housing reconstruction projects, assistance to internally displaced persons, and humanitarian support,” the presidential press service said.
