KYIV. May 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will address the Swiss Parliament in a video message during the summer session, according to a statement on the website of the Swiss Parliament.
On May 3, the Ukrainian Embassy to Switzerland submitted an official request to the Federal Assembly for President Zelenskyy to deliver a virtual address to the Swiss Parliament. A decision on such a request lies with the Offices of the National Council and the Council of States. At their meeting today [May 5], they decided to grant this request, it said.
The video address is expected to take place during the summer session. The exact date will be set in consultation with Ukraine.
