Vice President of Energy Club Martyniuk heads Ukrainian Distribution Networks

KYIV. Sept 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Energy Club Vice President Artem Martyniuk has headed Ukrainian Distribution Networks, the energy community’s website said.

According to the report, from 2018 to October 2021, Martyniuk served as General Director of PrJSC Volynoblenergo. He also worked in Kyivoblenergo, where in 1998 he began his career as a relay protection and automation engineer, Dniprooblenergo, Poltavaoblenergo, and Zakarpattiaoblenergo.

In Energy Club, which he joined in 2022, he is responsible for the electricity complex and the development of the electricity market.

The new head of Ukrainian Distribution Networks has a higher technical education (the National Agrarian University, specialty “Electrical Engineer”) and an MBA degree (International Institute of Management).

He trained in the USA within the MBA program with the assistance of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in the field of American energy business (AES IPALCO, Indianapolis USA).

As reported, at the end of December 2022, Mykhailo Ilnytsky, the ex-head of Chernihivoblenergo, which is controlled by Energy Standard of Konstantin Grigorishin and Privat Group of Ihor Kolomoisky, was appointed the head of Ukrainian Distribution Networks, which was created to manage the corporate rights of the state in regional energy companies.
