KYIV. Sept 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Germany transferred to Ukraine two more armored vehicles for mine clearance Wisent 1 and a batch of 20 Marder infantry fighting vehicles of the 1A3 modification with ammunition.
This follows from a statement about military assistance provided to Ukraine posted on the German government website on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the new assistance package also includes: an 8×8 HX81 tractor unit and four semi-trailers; five lifting machines 8×8; nine vehicles (trucks/minibuses/all-terrain vehicles); three ambulances; another 3,000 155 mm shells; ammunition disposal material; a satellite communication surveillance system; 20 RQ-35 Heidrun reconnaissance drones; two mobile antenna mast systems; ten drone detection systems; and 1.5 million rounds of firearms ammunition.
