KYIV. Sept 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Agreement between Ukraine and Moldova on the liberalization of cargo transportation has been extended until the end of 2025: the document signed in August 2022 abolished the need for Ukrainian carriers to obtain appropriate permits for bilateral and transit transportation to Moldova.
The corresponding decision was made following the results of the meeting of the Ukrainian-Moldovan Mixed Commission on international road transport on September 13-14, the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine said.
According to Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration, Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, the issue of verification of all bus routes between Ukraine and Moldova and simplification of the procedure for their opening by carriers is being resolved separately.
As reported, Ukrainian carriers have simplified conditions for cargo transportation to 35 European countries.
