By KYIV. Nov 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, together with the IT company EPAM, launched a public beta version of the updated website of the State Statistics Service https://stat.gov.ua/, the EPAM press service reported on Tuesday.
“Quality data is the basis for making management decisions. That is why the State Statistics Service must turn into a modern organization, similar to an IT company. This will make it possible to receive data in real time, quickly analyze and distribute it. We have already launched the first State Statistics Service survey online format. We continue to work on digital transformation so that government agencies, business representatives and society receive high-quality and relevant data,” the EPAM press service quoted Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
He expressed gratitude to his partner, EPAM, for their support in implementing the digital transformation of the State Statistics Service.
The project used the development of the EPAM company – Quanthub – a platform for managing the data life cycle – from collection, cleansing, transformation, data analysis to its distribution, the report said.
The platform has been adapted to the requirements of the State Statistics Service: translation into Ukrainian has been completed and the capabilities for the statistical production process have been expanded. The updated system was called “Sigma” – in accordance with the letter of the Greek alphabet and mathematical designation.

EPAM recalled that the first consultations on the transformation of the State Statistics Service began two years ago. Within their framework, the company’s experts analyzed the level of digitalization of state statistics bodies and developed a concept for digital transformation. EPAM became a key partner in the transformation of the State Statistics Service following the results of an open competition.
