KYIV. Nov 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The HalfPrice chain, owned by the Polish company CCC, opens its first flagship store in Ukraine, in the Respublika Park shopping center (Kyiv) on November 9, 2023, the shopping center’s press service reported.
“HalfPrice is a new player in the Ukrainian market, and the opening of its first store in the Respublika Park shopping center is an important event for fans of fashion and bargain shopping. We expect that our customers will greet HalfPrice with great interest. This event indicates that Ukraine remains attractive for investment and business, even during the difficult period of war,” said Yulia Schaslyva, general director of the Respublika Park shopping center.
The total area of the store in the Respublika Park shopping center is more than 1,800 sq m.
HalfPrice debuted in Poland at the beginning of May 2021. Vice President of Sales at HalfPrice Joanna Czyżewska said that HalfPrice was created with “bargain hunters” in mind, in stores you can often find single copies of branded clothing, shoes, accessories, cosmetics, toys and household goods at very attractive prices.
Today the chain is represented in nine countries of Central and Eastern Europe, where it has opened more than 100 stores.
The super-regional shopping center Respublika Park (1 Kiltseva Street) opened in Kyiv in November 2021, total area – 300,000 square meters, rental – 135,000 sq m. Indoor parking is designed for 3,500 cars.
