By KYIV. Nov 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The British Government has signed a Statement of Intent to create a war risk insurance scheme for Ukraine through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko on Twitter (X) on Thursday, noting that the goal of this initiative is to assist British businesses in operating in Ukraine.
As reported, the UK is working on an insurance tool for its businesses, which are interested in investing in Ukraine, and are also interested in assisting in the launch of an international war risk reinsurance pool.
