KYIV. Nov 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba held telephone conversations with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell regarding Ukraine’s progress in implementing seven EU recommendations, the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday.
“I briefed (Josep Borrell) in detail on Ukraine’s progress in implementing seven EU recommendations. I anticipate the European Commission’s assessment to be fair and become a significant step toward opening Ukraine’s EU accession talks. We also elaborated on future steps to strengthen the European defense industry and enhance defense production in the interests of European security and Ukraine’s victory,” Kuleba wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).
As reported, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is on a working visit to Berlin on November 2-3.
In turn, Josep Borrell invited Dmytro Kuleba to take part in the next meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, which will be held in Brussels on November 14.
