KYIV. Nov 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The creation of an electronic urban planning cadastre at the state level is planned to be completed by the end of 2024, said the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Organization of State Power, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning, the head of the Servant of the People party, Olena Shuliak, in a comment to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
“Testing of its functionality is now beginning, it will be completed by the end of this year. From the beginning of next year, the cadastre will begin to be filled with urban planning documentation. In February, the system is planned to be put into trial operation, and then it will be finalized,” she added.
Shuliak recalled that one of the components of the future cadastre, the Unified State Electronic System in the Construction Industry, has been successfully operating in Ukraine for three years.
“At the time of launch, its transition from paper forms of document flow to electronic ones seemed something impossible to subjects of urban planning. Now the system has become not only familiar, but also mandatory. The same will happen with other parts of the future urban planning cadastre: the register of administrative-territorial units and territorial communities, a register of urban planning documentation, a register of all buildings and structures on the territory of Ukraine and a register of addresses. By combining all this, we will contribute to the systematic development of territories,” the deputy explained.
“The urban planning cadastre will be a platform for providing all administrative services in the field of urban planning activities and a public source of urban planning information. Urban planning documentation comes into force from the moment it is entered into the urban planning cadastre and assigned a spatial index,” the MP noted.
