KYIV. Nov 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine in January-October of this year increased the export of ferroalloys in kind by 15.1% compared to the same period last year, to 334,008 tonnes.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service, in monetary terms, the export of ferroalloys plunged by 42%, to $288.958 million.
At the same time, the major exports were to Poland (53.65% of supplies in monetary terms), Türkiye (13.47%) and the Netherlands (8.67%).
In addition, during this period, Ukraine imported 6,790 tonnes of these products, which is 61.2% less compared to January-October 2022. In monetary terms, imports plummeted by 58.5%, to $27.192 million.
Imports were mainly from India (22.13%), Armenia (18.14%) and China (16.52%).
