By KYIV. Nov 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine in January-October of this year reduced the export of semi-finished carbon steel in kind by 40.4% compared to the same period last year, to 1.035 million tonnes.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service, in monetary terms, exports of semi-finished carbon steel products during this period reached $529.584 million (a decrease of 51.6%).
The main exports were to Bulgaria (35.42% of supplies in monetary terms), Poland (23.85%) and Italy (9.97%).
In January-October, Ukraine imported 92 tonnes of semi-finished products from China worth $169,000; in September-October there were no imports.
