Lviv receives from Warsaw PLN 160,000 for restoration of damaged houses on Stryiska Street

KYIV. Nov 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Warsaw City Council has provided the territorial community of Lviv with financial assistance in the amount of PLN 160,000 (over EUR 36,000) for the restoration of the damaged facades and staircases in multi-apartment buildings on Stryiska Street, according to the press service of Lviv City Council.

“The received funds will be spent on repairs in the multi-apartments buildings on Stryiska Street that were damaged as a result of a missile attack on July 6. We are currently receiving these funds to the budget of the Lviv territorial community, and the session will adopt an instruction to distribute these funds,” Head of the Financial Policy Department of Lviv City Council Viktoria Dovzhyk was cited by the press service.

As reported, on the night of July 6, a Russian missile hit multi-apartment buildings on Stryiska Street, killing ten people and injuring 48 people.
