KYIV. Nov 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The total resource of local budgets in Ukraine in 2024 will be UAH 62 billion more than it was in 2021 the year before, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
“The resources of local budgets for 2024 will total more than UAH 279 billion. Local budgets will receive approximately UAH 225 billion from personal income tax,” Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Friday.
In addition, according to the prime minister, the government will allocate additional subsidies of UAH 33.4 billion to local authorities for the exercise of powers of local governments.
“The total resource of local budgets will be UAH 62 billion more than the resource in 2021. Also, there are now almost UAH 207 billion in the accounts of local authorities, and these funds also remain in communities,” Shmyhal said.
