KYIV. Nov 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine plans to launch a grape-growing and wine-making register to ensure control over product quality and transfer services to electronic format, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food has reported.
“The introduction of a grape-growing and wine-making register will ensure product quality control and will become the basis for rebooting the viticulture industry, and will also make it possible to transfer public services in the field of winemaking into electronic form,” the ministry said.
According to the report, the purpose of creating the register as an information and communication system is to collect, record, accumulate, and process information on the production of grapes, viticulture and winemaking products.
