KYIV. Nov 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Organizers of land auctions in the state electronic trading system ProZorro.Sale have earned more than UAH 1 billion since the beginning of 2023 based on the results of almost 4,700 successful online auctions, according to the system’s website.
According to the report, almost UAH 790 million came from the sale of municipal and state non-agricultural land and private agricultural land. Another more than UAH 290 million per year came from land rental income.
Since the beginning of this year, land auctions have been announced by 1,200 organizers, of which about 680 are local governments. During this time, more than 7,000 participants tried to acquire the right to purchase or lease land at online auctions. On average, three participants competed for plots at the auction. Based on the results of auctions held during this time, the price of land almost doubled.
More land auctions since the beginning of this year have occurred in Odesa region – almost 500. The top five regions by the number of auctions also include Cherkasy region – 418 completed auctions, Poltava – 348, Lviv – 320 and Kirovohrad – 270.
As of November 14, about eight hundred trades in the system are at the stage of concluding transactions, which could bring the organizers another more than UAH 213 million, the ProZorro.Sale system reported.
