KYIV. Nov 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The McDonald’s chain has opened its first restaurant in Oleksandria (Kirovograd region), the company’s press service has reported.
The restaurant on the M-30 highway, connecting the east and west of Ukraine, makes the restaurant especially convenient for travelers.
The area of the restaurant is more than 470 square meters, there are 10 digital self-service terminals, 123 seats in the hall and 122 on the terrace, next to it there is a children’s playground.
The restaurant will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with enhanced safety protocols in place. The restaurant closes during an air raid and resumes operations approximately an hour after it is cancelled.
McDonald’s restaurant in Oleksandria became the 96th among the chain’s currently operating restaurants in Ukraine, providing more than 80 jobs.
The network is being developed by FDI McDonald’s Ukraine Ltd.
The first restaurant of the chain in Ukraine was opened on May 24, 1997 in Kyiv.
As reported, McDonald’s began the phased opening of restaurants in Ukraine on September 20, 2022. Until February 24, 2022, the chain had 109 restaurants in 24 cities across the country.
According to the data of the unified public register of legal entities and sole proprietors, a participant in FDI McDonald’s Ukraine Ltd. is MCD Europe Limited (100%, London, the UK).
